Our Dedicated Support Staff

Nikki Skrivanos works in the front office and fills in as veterinary assistant. She has worked in the customer service industry most of her life. It wasn’t until she started working as a receptionist at an animal hospital that she realized she could use all her talents to help not only people but animals also. She enjoys getting to know the patients and their humans. Her attention to detail and her organizational skills help to make everything run smoothly and ensure clients are taken care of properly. Nikki’s abilities lead her to move to St. Croix Virgin Islands to help her father open a Greek restaurant. While there, she was able to continue helping animals by rescuing and finding new homes for some of the many strays. Once she returned to Arkansas, she not only picked up where she left off, but started to take her veterinary assistant skills to the next level. She has a dog named Leon that loves to go everywhere with her especially to work. She enjoys outdoor activities and traveling back to St Croix whenever possible.

Melissa Toney grew up in Southeast Louisiana, and has always had a strong love for animals of all kinds (except spiders). She has been working as a Technician/Assistant for 10 years with a background in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Exotics. She currently shares her house with 2 crows; Roland and Morrigan, 4 cats; Ace, Spade, Lou, and Charlie, and the 3 loves of her life; her huskies Kona, Bodhi, and Shai. In her free time she volunteers and works extensively with Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas, where she enjoys assisting in medical care and recovery, as well as training non-releasable birds of prey as Education Birds, giving them a second chance at life at educational facilities here in Arkansas. On her days off, you can find her piled on the couch with her dogs (and a bird or two) with her face in a book.

Brooke Burch has worked in the veterinary field since 2006. She works as a receptionist, mostly, but is always willing to lend a hand in all areas of the hospital. Her friendliness and caring attitude help make the clients and their pets feel right at home. She takes pride in knowing all situations, big or small, are handled professionally. She has 2 cats, Thomas and Maddie, and a dog named Sadie, who LOVES to play ball!!! In her spare time, Brooke loves to karaoke and go to the lake, and dreams of living on the beach one day.
